• Building a well balanced college list that is uniquely suited to the student

• Advice on course selection

• Advice on extra-curricular activities and summer experiences

• Testing recommendations; timeline and scheduling

• Advice on planning college visits 

• Creating an action plan and timeline

• Creating an application strategy, including which teachers should write recommendations

• Brainstorming personal statement and essay topics

• Assistance with personal statements and supplemental essays

• Assistance with filling out application(s), including activity list and resume

• College interview preparation, as needed

• Evaluating college affordability and assessing financial aid packages

• Assistance with strategy for waiting lists and deferrals

• Assistance with making the final decision

• Assistance with the transition to college during the fall of freshman year

• Assistance with applying to gap year programs can be provided for an additional hourly fee.

The comprehensive package begins at the end of the summer right before junior year, but we will meet once or twice in the spring of sophomore year to start designing your path to college. What classes are you planning to take?  What activities are you participating in?  What will your summers look like?  When and how can you start college visits?

I begin filling my class of juniors each year starting in January of their sophomore year. 16 spots will be available.
